INFORMATION FOR PUBLIC AND PRIVATE TRANSPORTATION

Planning your ride

You can plan your ride using the Transit app (download the app on your phone) or Google Maps transit tab on your phone. These apps will show you transit links available and routes to your destination.

Paying for your ride

Fares can be paid with exact change, by electronic pass (available at many retail outlets) or through the HOP phone pass (requires a minimum purchase)  Fare amounts can be found by checking the black box titled C-TRANS FARES.

 

Local transit

-public transit is available to the local area via C-trans. Fares, schedules, pass information can be viewed at:

-there are bus stops for the 80 bus to/from Fisher Landing Transit Center and other locations in the community located near Fernwood Drive and  SE Village Loop (closest for the southern portion of the community) and near the intersection of McGillvary Blvd and SE Briarwood Dr. (closest for the northern portion of the community)

-the 80 bus will go west/north towards Vancouver Mall and south to Fishers Landing transit center

-the 80 bus going north will also connect to the VINE (red line, major east/west route) connecting you to Mill Plain Transit center (east) and downtown (west).  Take 80 north to 136th and Mill Plain for the VINE stop.

Transit to Portland

(via bus from Fisher Landing Transit Center, tell the driver your destination and ask for a regional pass if required)

-from Fishers Landing Transit Center you can take the 164 express bus, with stops (and pickups) in the morning at  5th and Morrison and 5th and Harrison, and stops (and pickups) in the afternoon at 6th and Market and 6th and Oak.  The bus runs about every half hour from 5:00 AM until 8:30 PM. Fares vary for honored citizens from $1.50 to $3.00 depending on on- or off-peak.​

-from Fishers Landing you can take the 65 bus ($1.25 fare) to the Parkrose Transit Center in Portland where you can catch the Red Max line to the airport or downtown Portland (Max line ticket machine near the bus stop)

Transit to PDX

-on weekday afternoons/evenings (excluding holidays)  from Fishers Landing Transit Center there is a direct regional bus, #67, to and from PDX.  There is return service from PDX to Fishers Landing  weekday/evenings (excluding holidays).  The #67 bus stop at PDX is outside near the Max line station.

Check schedules because this service is very limited.

-fares for the bus are $.60 per ride for seniors (honored citizens)

Taxi, rideshare and ADA Transit

-ADA rides are available to approved riders via the CTRANS C-van.  You must go to the CTRANS website and fill out an application to be approved.  If approved, make a reservation for pickup 2 days in advance of your trip.  Return trips can be scheduled at drop-off. Regular fares apply.

-private rideshare  Uber and Lyft both serve the community.  You will need to add their rideshare app to your phone to schedule service.

The CURRENT

Regional on demand bus service is available in areas where regular bus routes do not access.   (check the CTRANS website here to get more information)

VETERANS RIDE FREE

If you are a veteran you can ride CTRANS buses free of charge with the HEROES pass. You will need to print out and complete the application found at the pdf link below, then take to the nearest CTRANS service center with proper documentation to receive your veterans pass.
