Several local stores offer discounts for senior citizens, either all the time or on certain days. Following retailers have such offers (dates and offers subject to change):
-Fred Meyer, 10% for ages 55 and older the first Tuesday of the month. May not apply to all items sold in the store.
-Chucks Produce, 10% senior discount on Tuesdays.
-New Seasons, 10% discount for those 65 and older on Wednesdays..
-Regal Cinemas, discounted senior passes for those 60 and older to movies, availability and amount vary depending on movie and showtime.
-Transportation discounts, tri-met offers honored citizen fares on fares and hop cards for residents 65 and older.
​-Kohls, offers seniors a 15% discount on Wednesdays.
-Ross, 10% discount for seniors on Tuesday.
-Walgreens, 20% off the first Tuesday of the month for 55 year old and older AARP members who have a free Balance Rewards Card.
